The Mustangs Football Club has a proud tradition of 50 years helping shape many of Ottawa's best leaders. Business, academic and political champions have spent their early years learning the positive and valuable team-building lessons that no sport can teach like youth football. The Mustangs have also produced some of the finest players ever to play at the high school, university and pro levels too.
Our goal is to provide all members of the community - kids and adults alike - the opportunity to participate in amateur sports. The club currently offers tackle programs for male and female competitors at Tyke and Mosquito levels and play within the National Capital Amateur Football Association.
Run solely by volunteers, our team of Board members, coaches, trainers, team managers and event coordinators combine a winning attitude with dedication in everything they do to make the Mustangs an integral part of the South Ottawa scene and provide the players with inspiring role models.
There are a number of neighbourhoods within South Ottawa that have been deemed as at risk by the City and Ottawa Police, and the Mustangs are striving to reach out to as many of the families in these areas as we can.
